We challenge you to find something better to finish off an epic 420 four-course feast than the classic pot brownie.

Easy 420 Meal Ideas for Beginners

Not only are cannabis-infused brownies delicious, theyre also easy to make and require minimal ingredients. The rich chocolate taste of the pot brownie expertly conceals any earthy flavors from your canna-butter and pairs great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Lets wrap up this meal with our easy recipe for cannabis-infused brownies:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cannabis-infused butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cannabis-infused butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  6. Grease a baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and pour the batter into it.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Note: When making cannabis-infused butter, it is important to decarboxylate your cannabis before infusing it with butter if you want a stronger edible. This is a process that activates the THC in the cannabis, making it psychoactive.

To do this, break your cannabis flower into small pea sized pieces and spread them evenly on a baking sheet. Set this to bake in the oven at 240°F (115°C) for 30-40 minutes. Every 10-20 minutes you should mix up your herb so all surface area of the bud is exposed to heat.

Easy 420 Meal Ideas for Beginners

When your cannabis starts to change to a darker green and feels dry to the touch, remove the finished product from the oven. Heat up your butter on low heat, add your decarbed cannabis, and simmer it for 2-3 hours. Make sure to keep an eye on your butter so it doesn’t overheat and stir the mixture every half hour or so.

When finished, strain the butter through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer to remove any plant material. You may loose some butter as your cannabis is absorbent, so it helps to add a little extra to yield the quantity the recipe calls for. Your cannabis-infused butter is now ready to use in your brownie recipe!
